Releasing tongue or lip-tie once was done in the operating room with general anesthesia, but now can be done safely and painlessly right in the dental office with laser surgery.

When I searched for a first summer camp experience for my kids, I was overwhelmed by all the options. There were camps for nature, art, sports, theater, swim, science, music and more. The problem was, I wanted my kids to go to the same camp, but they each had different interests. Jamie, five, was very active and liked sports and games. Rose, three, was high-energy too, but was drawn to art and music. I braced myself for a summer spent driving around the county, bringing one kid to soccer camp and the other to pottery camp. But finally I found a place that had a little of each of these things, and I signed them up. I didn’t realize then the profound impact this simple choice would end up having on our family.
