Alpine Endeavors Climbing and Adventure Camp

Alpine Endeavors, which offers professional climbing instruction, has partnered with The Inner Wall in New Paltz to offer climbing camps for children of all ages. The camp will consist mainly of as much rock climbing as possible, but will allow one day for a hike and some swimming at the beach (with a life guard on duty) at Lake Minnewaska. The schedule of activities will fluctuate to take the most advantage of the weather. Rainy day activities can include rappelling, hiking, navigation or indoor climbing.

Become Part of Cropsey Community Farm

Cropsey Community Farm, 12 acres of biodynamic farmland in the heart of Rockland County preserved and restored by the Rockland Farm Alliance (RFA), is once again offering residents the chance to become part of the largest CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in the metro area. CSA members will receive a family-sized basket of over 40 varieties of vegetables for 25 weeks, beginning in June and ending in November as well as free admission to workshops offered throughout the year.

Stage Left Children’s Theater Summer Camp

If your child loves to perform, he or she will want to be part of Stage Left Children’s Theater (SLCT) summer camp. Performances include Into the Woods, Pinocchio, A New Musical and Disney’s Aladdin Jr. SLCT was founded in 1999 by artistic director Ayn Lauren whose hope is to provide cultural inspiration and development for children through the medium of theater with shows for kids by kids.
