A few weeks ago I was invited to someone’s home for a luncheon, and as I turned in the drive, I looked at the planting in front of the house. There was not much to look at: the plants weren’t native to our area, and some of them looked like they had been eaten by deer. I got out of my car with a special annual arrangement filled with pretty plants and left it outside the front door. Then I went inside and said hello, looking around to admire the home’s lovely antiques.

Yoga and Lyme Disease by Tim Shannon

Can yoga bring relief to people diagnosed with Lyme disease or other diseases? For me it works. In July 2002 I became very sick. I couldn’t get out of bed. I had an extreme fever. I had a rash on the backside of my knee that the doctor thought was from a spider bite. He gave me amoxicillin and the fever went down. Soon after I developed a rash on the top of my leg and was tested for Lyme disease. My diagnosis was disseminated Lyme disease.
